Here you will find a church map, a diagram to help you during Communion,
some facts about our church building, and more.
Please note: paper copies of this information will also be available
by the entrances of church when you visit!
Visit our Church Office during the week so we can meet you and get you started!
Our office is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with lunch from 12-1 p.m.
Parking is available on both sides of North Street, on the church-side of Market Street (facing downhill), and in the church office and school parking lots.
Handicap access is available on the North Street side of the church, where there is a ramp into our Church Hall.
The building itself is one level.
The front door entrance (at the corner of North and Market Streets) has stairs leading up from the street and again into the building.
The parking lot entrance has stairs that go down into the building through a Church Hall door.
Once you enter the building, you may need to find the restrooms, which are located in the Church Hall area (as per the diagram).
Our Church Hallway is found through the doorway to the left of the Blessed Virgin with the Infant Jesus statue, behind the pulpit.
From there:
Unlike other churches, our pews have pipes running lengthwise down the middle of each of the larger sections. To avoid this tripping hazard, we process to Communion a little differently.
If you are unable to walk to Communion, please sit near the front of the church and stand (if you are able) during Communion. The Eucharist will be brought to you.
On the diagram provided, yellow indicates Group 1, blue represents Group 2, and the green arrows indicate the path to return to your seat after receiving the Eucharist.
Group 1 (yellow): To receive Communion, leave your pew and head for the back of the church (toward the vestibule) and turn down the center aisle to walk toward the altar. After you have received the Eucharist, simply continue along the outer aisle until you reach your pew.
Please note: While Group 1 begins from the front pews, Group 2 will begin from the back pews.
Group 2 (blue): Once the back pews of Group 1 have reached the center aisle for Communion, the back pews of Group 2 will join the line toward the altar. When you have received the Eucharist, follow the outer aisles (like Group 1 did for Communion) until you reach your seat.
The green arrows indicate the route for returning to your seat. No matter which group you are seated in, everyone follows the outer aisles to return to their pew.
